THE PLOT:
Tony Stark was a spoiled son of a billionaire who had everything given to him. But when his pet project to uncover an ancient
Chinese city leads to deaths by the hands of radicals who believe raising the city is part of a twisted prophecy he heads
out to find the truth and rescue his close friend Mac who was captured by them.
Tony is also captured and near death, with the help of a scientist they construct a device to keep him alive and he creates
a crude battle armor in order to get him out alive. But the prophecy has come to past and statue monsters are now searching
the globe for ancient rings that can resurrect the Mandarin.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
I was really looking forward to this and for the most part it's pretty cool. Iron-Man's origin is almost right, but again
some creative Producers can't leave well enough alone. The Mandarin isn't some ancient evil, he found the rings in a crashed
alien space craft. Why must they keep re-writing things that was good enough to begin with? I really wish someone could
answer that. Now I have to give it 7 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree, I was really disappointed that Avi Arad did it again. This guy is worse then Michael Eisner! Man, I thought he
would have learned his lesson after Daredevil and Elektra. You can stay fateful to the story and still be creative. I mean
look at V FOR VENDETTA and HELLBOY. They stay fateful to the original story, and as soon as that moron learns that, the better
his stories will be. Please Stan Lee, take your company back. 6 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ ACTION (There's plenty of action to go around in this story.)
+ NOT DUMBED DOWN (Again like the Avengers movies we liked that isn't dumbed down for children.)
+ ANIMATION (High quality animation.)
+ CHARACTERS (The heroes are well written.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- CHANGES (I hate when they make major changes on well known characters.)
- CHARACTER ISSUES (The head of the rebels trying to stop the rising of the city is just as sick and psychotic as the
Mandarin.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you like the comic book Iron-Man who like I may have issues with Avi's re-writes.)
