4: Rise of the Silver Surfer
The time has come for Reed and Sue to be married and no disaster or scientific mystery will stop that or will it, as a strange
object arrives from deep space and Reed sends Johnny after it when it crashes their wedding.
It's a silver humanoid on what looks like a surf board, dubbed the Silver Surfer he grabs Johnny and this touch has an
unexpected side effect, it causes Johnny to transfer powers with the others when touched and when Doctor Doom spies the Surfer
things can get really ugly with something on it's way that could spell all life on Earth.
I got to admit, this is better then the first movie and I did enjoy the first movie. Now I was a tad disappointed that we
didn't even get to see Galactis's ship but that's really minor compared to the whole, 9 STARS
The FF is one of my favorite hero teams and even though there is some infighting this time as well, it doesn't take up as
much of the plot as it did in the first movie and that butthead general I didn't like. The Silver Surfer was perfect, what
I can see, no chances what so ever, I'm glad that Marvel Movies are finally starting to stay fateful to the original source.
9 STARS as well.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ BETTER (Even better then the first.)
+ CG (Just as good as the first.)
+ STORY (The story is great.)
+ SILVER SURFER (Perfect to the comic.)
+ ACTION (Plenty of action to go around.)
+ DOC DOOM (They even brought back old Doc Doom to be a second villain.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- NO GALACTIS (Wonder why we didn't get to see Galactis or his ship?)
- CHARACTER ISSUES (There was this General who was a real jerk.)
- FAN BASED (If you aren't a fan of comic book movies then this isn't for you.)
