ZEDD'S OPINION:
I got to admit after the first two movies I was looking forward to this one when I heard about it and I also got to admit
I was more then slightly disappointed. Only one monster when the first movie had a monster in every story. Now that I learned
that these stories had no connection to the CREEPSHOW comic I can see why. I can also see why there was no big stars like
the first two movies. Like the monsters they went cheap with the cast. I always say, you go cheap and you get cheap. Not
that it's all bad, the stories are watchable and the one monster is cool, but the worst Creepshow to date and I give it 6
STARS.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd on this one. Only one of the stories in the second movie was a disappointment but these were all slightly
disappointing. But I liked the way the stories were interlocked ala PULP FICTION I assume. Even though I prefer the comic
book angle they had in the first two film and where's Mister Creep? That's like having a TALES FROM THE CRYPT without the
Crypt Keeper. 5 STARS.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CAST (They might not be stars but they did do a good job.)
+ EFFECTS (The effects were good.)
+ INTERESTING (The stories were interesting)
+ INTERLOCKING (Ala Pulp Fiction.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- NO COMIC STORIES (They didn't base any of the stories on the movie's namesake.)
- NO STARS (They went with unknowns instead of proven actors just to save money.)
- ONLY 1 MONSTER (That was just cheap.)
- NO MISTER CREEP (It's barely CREEPSHOW at all.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you didn't like the first two movie then you won't like this one and some fans of the first two will not like
this one.)
